Kent/Blossom Art will present three guest lectures in June as part of the 2013 Public Lecture Series. The series will feature painter Lisa Sanditz on June 6, ceramic artist Julia Galloway on June 21, and ceramic artist Marc Lancet on June 27. All public lectures take place in room 202 of the Art Building at 6 p.m. and are free and open to the public.
Sanditz’s paintings offer a subjective view of cultural and economic situations in the United States and abroad. She has shown work at solo exhibitions at ACME Gallery in Los Angeles, Rodolphe Janssen Gallery in Brussels, Belgium, and CRG Gallery in New York.
Her work is part of public collections at the Columbus Museum of Art, The Fogg Art Museum and The Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, among others. Sanditz earned her bachelor’s degee in studio art at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minn., and her Master of Fine Arts from the Pratt Institute.
